Prince Royal Wedding Series ebook

Once Upon a Prince By Rachel Hauck is magical. If I had to use just one word it would be just that... magical. Susanna, the heroine, has loved one man for as long as she can remeber and wants nothing more than to marry him, but just as in life it does not got according to plan. Sadly, Susanna is dumped instead of proposed to and spends her time trying to recover from this upset when her prince and I mean an actual prince steps into her life and all will work out better than she could have ever planned. With a few hiccups here and there both Susanna and Nat come together along with His guidance. I was thoroughly enthralled with this magical fairytale that I did nothing but lounge in my corner and read this tale from cover to cover in one sitting. This is my kind of summer reading, two people finding love when they least expected it and were more than ready for it.

I have said this before and I will say it again, I rarely give 5 stars for a book and this one definitely deserves my 5 stars. I love that the author incorporated the truth that faith matters in love. It is the power of faith that makes one believe in love - love for God, love for family, passion for work and love for another being. I also enjoyed this book because it presented the story in different points of view that added to the sincerity of the characters. I am hoping that the entire series will be as good as this first.

What a wonderful book! It is definitely a new favorite. When I first picked up this book to read, I wondered if it would be a "cute" story that I would enjoy, however, I was curious how "real" it could seem. The author did an amazing job of merging real life with what could be called a fairy tale scenario. The characters are real people with real problems. The story follows a middle class young woman, Susanna, who falls for a prince. Nate, or Prince Nathaniel, is also a very well written character. You realize that he is human with all the normal emotions we all have, however, he also has many added burdens upon his shoulders that only someone in his position would have. Loved reading this book and seeing these two fall in love, even when it appears throughout most of the book that they can never be together. I received a copy of this book from Zondervan in exchange for my honest opinion.

I just finished reading Once Upon a Prince -- and closed the book with a huge smile on my face and a sigh of satisfaction. Rachel Hauck is a master-storyteller, and she doesn't disappoint in her newest novel. Her characters are vivid, and she paints the worlds of both St. Simons Island and the kingdom of Brighton so that I could see them in my mind's eye.
The romance and subsequent tension between Susanna and Nathaniel are believable and Hauck deftly weaves the obstacles and resolutions, adding in beautiful threads of spiritual truth in a way that deepens the story without stalling the forward motion of the plot.
I know I'll be re-reading favorite scenes -- there were many! -- and ordering extra copies of Once Upon a Prince to share with my friends.
